Located in the northwest of Madagascar, Nosy Be, the best known of the Malagasy Islands continues with the myth of a paradise island. Nosy Be, an escape on the fringes of completely wild coastlinewhere the beaches and seabed rhyme with serenity, peace and nature in its raw state. The palm forests, the plantations of sugar cane and ylang-ylang, the bamboo - it creates landscapes in perfect harmony.
Nestled in a lush tropical garden, l'Heure Bleue enjoys a unique location in Nosy Be, the well known paradise island : only 8 luxury lodges, and 10 waterfront bungalows on the #1 beach of Nosy Be, and backed by a hill overlooking the bay of Madirokely / Ambatoloaka, preserving both the freshness and intimacy of its guests.
You will marvel and recharge diving from our beach in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. Unless you prefer one of our two large swimming pools: fresh water (15 meters long) or sea water (20m).
There are at least two ways to enjoy the magic of l'Heure Bleue :
In a luxury lodge of 65 m2, with large private terrace and stunning view over the bay of Ambatoloaka. Undoubtedly the most beautiful and stunning rooms of Nosy Be island. Or, in an authentic wooden bungalow "feet in water", which combines traditional construction and comfort, less spacious, but with unparalleled "cool" charm.
Despite being Madagascar’s number-one beach destination, the island of Nosy Be remains relatively low-key. The climate is sunny year-round, and Nosy Be is paradise for water-based activities. Diving is the island’s top draw, and there is plenty of swimming, snorkelling and sailing for those keen to stay close to the surface.
Once you’ve had enough of seascapes, head for the rolling landscapes of the little-explored hinterland: as well as the brilliant Réserve Naturelle Intégrale de Lokobe, there are cocoa, ylang-ylang and vanilla plantations, crater lakes and waterfalls, and miles of dirt tracks accessible only by foot or quad bike.
