Madagascar - Tsara Komba Lodge 7 nights

Spend 7 nights on Nosy Komba at Tsara Komba Lodge

Nosy Komba is a beautiful volcanic island between Nosy Be, the island of perfumes, and the mainland of Madagascar. On the island of Nosy Komba, all of your journeys will be on foot, by pirogue (dugout canoe) or by boat as you appreciate the relaxed pace of life of a bygone age.

The Tsara Komba Lodge is a 4-star luxury hotel with a rare and authentic charm, in perfect keeping with Nature and with the area’s outstanding biodiversity. It combines a stylish and exclusive atmosphere, an excellent Slow Food cuisine, tailored services and excursions, in an atmosphere dominated by a commitment to comfortable luxury and ecology. Experience the gentle caress of the wind, the birdsongs and the sound of the waves lapping around this former volcano today covered by an abundant forest, bordered by a sapphire blue sea with excellent golden sandy beaches. The preservation of this sublime environment and the community-minded activities being pursued here to encourage harmonious sustainable development for the benefit of the local population are just two of the ethical aspects of this marvellous Eco-paradise.

The sort of location in which our guests dream of setting up home or at least coming back often. Nestling on a hillside in the heart of a stunningly beautiful setting situated between the forest and the beach, the lodges and their front porches all enjoy an amazing view across the ocean, where you can tuck into a delicious breakfast watching an incredible sunrise or a colourful end to the day with a dinner under the stars. The leafy natural setting surrounding your lodge protects your privacy while at the same time bringing you all the benefits of its cool shade.

Nosy Komba is known for its many small and inhabited beaches as well as for its emerald like water. Nosy Komba is a small jewel of nature, increasingly visited and becoming a mirror of its larger neighbour, Nosy Be. Tranquillity prevails as there are no cars, neither electricity. Beauty of nature and sweetness of life make it a most attractive place to be.

Tucked away in the heart of a breath-taking tropical botanical garden, which is home to endemic plants, lemurs, chameleons, hummingbirds, parrots, vanilla, cocoa and wild pepper. In the bay, the stunningly beautiful undersea depths, the whales, the dolphins and the turtles are further examples of the area’s generous biodiversity.

Just a stone’s throw from your lodge, you’ll find the magnificent beach where sun loungers are laid out on the golden sand or under the shade of the palm trees. You can enjoy a peaceful walk along the translucent waters so perfect for bathing and ideal for gently recharging your batteries. The private nature reserve offers some memorable strolls, during which you can admire the numerous species of flowers and trees, but also the lemurs, chameleons, hummingbirds and butterflies.
