Spend 3 nights at Lalibela Game Reserve

Located in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, close to Port Elizabeth and Addo, which means it is not only malaria free, but spans 5 ecosystems, resulting in a breath-taking diversity of flora and fauna.

Lalibela consists of 9,000 hectares (approximately 22,000 acres) and is home to the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo & leopard) as well as other predators like cheetah, hyena, jackal & lynx. In addition, all of the animals at Lalibela, including the predators, are free-roaming throughout the entire game reserve

Day 1
Depart from Port Elizabeth Airport on a road transfer to Lalibela Game Reserve.
Here you are transferred to to either Marks Camp or Lentaba Safari Lodge. Your hosts will greet you and show you to your comfortable accommodation, complete with private viewing deck. There should still be time for an afternoon game drive looking out for the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino & leopard).
Days 2 & 3
The days are filled with exciting day and evening game drives and bush walks
Day 4
There should be time for a morning activity before transferring to Port Elizabeth.

The stone and thatch chalets and main lodge of Mark’s Camp are decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style. This safari lodge sleeps up to 20 guests in eight chalets. Each comfortably furnished chalet has an en-suite bathroom and ceiling-fans for those warm summer nights. The chalets open up onto your own private viewing deck with views over the surrounding bush.

Lentaba, the “lodge on the hillside”, sleeps 16 people in eight secluded thatched chalets, placed where magnificent indigenous gardens merge into the surrounding bush. Each en-suite unit has a private observation deck to make the most of the views over the valley bushveld. The main lodge is decorated in a traditional African safari style and boasts a large lounge, viewing deck and a sunny swimming pool where you can spend a lazy afternoon.

  • The three Lodges can sleep up to 46 guests
  • Early morning and sunset game drives in an open vehicle with an experienced game ranger bring you face to face with a multitude of game species.
  • Experience a multitude of game species ranging from the mighty elephant, lion, rhino and buffalo to the tiny blue duiker and rock hyrax.
